does anyone else here have problems with hosting games on their mac? i know both 304jr and i have this problem. my firewall is off, but it still wont work Sad

I don't have any problem.

Remember to forward the ports of your router to your computer, your firewall is one thing, your router is another one. I know it's might be a little difficult sometimes but we can't do anything about it for the moment.

Do you always have a problem hosting games or it's time to time?

how do you forward ports and how do you set up your router?

If you are using a router you will need to configure it to forward ports 28000-28002 to your computer.

I can't helps you more as every router configuration is different
Try googling "forward port *your_router*".
http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm can help too.

the usual default way to access your router is 192.168.1.1

do you have to have your firewall off to host games Huh if you do have to have your firewall off that sucks cus I'am not aloud to turn my firewall off so then i can't host games Sad if you can plz make it so you don't have to turn it off in the next update plz Undecided

You don't need to turn it off completly but you must open the ports 28000-28002 on your firewall, there nothing we can do about this.  Embarrassed
