Hi,

I copied the application to my harddrive and launched it, but all I got is a black window with no sound.
I tried to apply the [MAC] Audio but no Video fix but it's not written which file to edit, I can't find windowedRes etc in defaults.cs.dso etc

Mac OS X10.4.10
Mac mini Intel Core solo (1st gen) 1.5 GHz GMA 950

I just update the FAQ.

Quote
[MAC] Audio but no Video

Your computer may be trying to play the game at a screen resolution it doesn't support.
Right click on Penguins Arena application and select "Show contents",  find the Contents/Resources/starter.fps/client/pref.cs file, open it with a text editor.

Change these options to the following values:
Code:

$pref::Video::windowedRes = "800 600";
$pref::Video::resolution = "800 600 32";
$pref::Video::fullScreen = "0";

Save the file and restart the game.

I hope it'll resolve your issue. If not please send me the following file :
Contents/Resources/console.log

Doesn't help, also the cursor is disappearing when the window is active.

I investigated your issue last sunday without success.  Sad

Could your try to run the demo version of the Torque Game Engine please ?

Do you have Microsoft Words installed on your computer ? Sometimes he replace fonts (like Arial ones) with his ones and that can mess up with our engine.

I hear the motorbike sound but still only see a black window.
I don't have MS Words installed.
I could try the game on Windows via Parallels but your download link is broken.

That doesn't sound good. I'm affraid that if you have the same issue with our game engine we can't do anything more Sad
Maybe the game will run using Windows on Bootcamp...

I found numerous reports of people using a Mac mini with Torque Game Engine but most of these reports don't tell the exact version of the Mac mini used.
